ということでこちらで日記をつけることになりましたもりげです。ふつつかものですがよろしくおねがいいたします。
心機一転できるとも思えないけれど、今だけはしたつもりになってみるというのは悪くなかろう。ここをどこまでもマジメな音楽日記にしてみるのも良い。うん、すがすがしいアイディアだ。でも無理だ。
最近ふるい雑誌記事を読みたくなって調べている。古いってのは本当に古い雑誌のことなんで、たとえばこういうものだ。これらのフォトコピーがマイクロフィルムになって各国の音大図書館なんかに振舞われている。てか音大が金を出して買ってるわけだが。
たとえば上記の雑誌 "La Revue et Gazette musicale" には、リストやシューマンといった作曲家達みずから記事を寄せていたりする。大作曲家たちが生きたその時代の雑誌をそのまま読むことができるというのは何ともいえず感動的なことで、心躍る。
彼らの残した音楽を、演奏家はまったく新鮮なままでぼくらの前に示すことができる。しかしそれはまったく新鮮なだけに、遥かな年月を感じるときの崇高な思いを呼び起こすことはない。その「遥かな年月への感動の不在」が実は隠し持っていた感動――古びぬ共感を作り上げた彼らへの驚嘆――が、苔むしたような古雑誌の姿を目にしたときに改めて胸に迫る。
……わあ、すごいぞ。いい調子だ。
『ゆびさきミルクティー』にどうやって萌えればいいのかわかりません。本当に誰か教えてくれ。
というようなことを言って相手にあれほどショックを受けられると、萌えない自分がおかしいような気がしてくる。どうしてなんだろう。これは分析してみる価値があるかもしれない。
